I'd be seriously pissed cause love isn't supposed to hold grudges. He should have been able to have forgiven me and stop bringing up the past. I sense trouble with someone who constantly brings up the past...it seems as if he isn't trusting you completely and a relationship needs to have trust to last.

Ask him what's his definition of love. If there's nothing in there about wanting you to be happy, then dump him. Usually bringing up the past is more related to not knowing how to communoicate effectively. If that's the case, suggest couples counseling. Churches are very good at doing that.

He may love you but just can't get over something that happened in your past. Let him know that the past is the past and it is something that he can't bring up on a regular basis cause the more he mentions it the more it will push him away from u.

Has he done things in the past that were not so cool. Ask him would it be ok if you were to start bringing up his "stuff" and topping off with the "I love you" routine.
Let him know nicely that it's not appropriate to do that and it hurts, so cut it out!

I had a four year relationship with a guy who from day one judged me on my past and emotionally abused me about it. If the guy can't be mature and nonjudgemental, you need to examine his other qualities and think of why you are with him. Everyone has a past and the only thing that should matter is the present and future

What I would do is that I will tell him that he really doesn't love me at all. BECAUSE love keeps no record of wrongdoings. Past is past.
