I have been in a comitted relationship for just over six years now, engaged for 3, and I have become very intrusive and snoopy when it comes to where my man has been and who he has been out with. I have read emails in the past, text messages, monitered cell phone calls and even look for stuff in his briefcase. He has never been unfaithful but I am constantly afraid that he must be looking for something new. I truly love him and want to make this work, how can I overcome this? Help please.

In a relationship you either trust or you don't. The problem could be past relationships that you have been involved in. Who Moved My Cheese is a very good book to read for better understanding about what is going on around you. If this person hasn't given any reason not to trust him then trust him. It may be that you just don't trust yourself. Look at the reasons that you can not allow yourself to trust anyone.

It sounds like a compulsive thing you got going on. I'd get into counseling. I think it has more to do with a pattern you can't break rather than a trust issue.
Why worry about something that may never happen. Quit wasting your time with it.
