To quote Buzz Lightyear, "You are a sad, strange little man."

If you want to attack Christianity, couldn't you at least say something relevant? Calling "Passion of the Christ" a comedy is just stupid on every concievable level. Do you even know what that movie is? It's 3 hours of a guy being horribly mutilated. No matter what you believe, it MUST be agreed upon by the audience (Christian or otherwise) that Jesus was not having a comical experience. Was Jesus the son of God? Possibly not, and it's fine if you think that. Was "Passion" a comedy? Not at all, and your an idiot for either thinking that, or just saying it for no other intention that annoying any CHristian who reads this.

I dont think that its appropriate in this circumstance. But hey, I may be wrong.

However, you can reveal how Christianity makes a difference in your life by not choosing any movies eg comedy, with any suss, derogatory or racist humour. Just good clean fun- hey and good luck on that one!!!

Anyways, Im sure there are plenty more opportunities that you will be able to reveal what Christ means to you, at a time that she will appreciate.

Why not, I'm Atheist and I loved it. It was not a comedy but that was sort of funny when the Crow pecked out the guys eye ball.

only if she finds religious stuff funny; otherwise, it might piss her off that you'd rent something like that. If she said she wanted a comedy I would rent something that's a comedy not a drama.

I think that would be a great choice. But you might want to be careful with that one. She might catch on that it is not really a comedy and become a Christian.

How about "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Passion of the Christ" and "Da Vinci Code"? Make a night of it.

No, dude. ( I am guessing you have never seen it.) She could actually become a believer by watching it.

Why not rent Napolean Dynamite?

Go for it. Actually, I could suggest a really funny one, it's called "The Fat, the Bald, and the Ugly". Check it out, it made me chuckle.
