i'm assuming you are talking about a tax refund.

it's impossible to answer the question because you didn't tell us how much you already paid in federal and state taxes.

Unless there is some additional adjustment or deduction that you have that you didn't mention, your taxable income would be $8550, and your federal income tax on that would be $909. Your refund would be whatever you paid in minus the $909 tax.

Listen to Judy. She has the right answer. You just need to plug in how much you had withheld from your paycheck..........that's if you got a paycheck.

If you're an independent contractor, then you have to deal with self employment taxes also in which case, you'll be owing since you probably had nothing withheld.

you can increase your return by writing off things you bought during the year you need to ask your tax person about this. call H&R Block thats who I always use.....or you can call anybody that does taxes
