I have never had an exercise routine and don't know where to start. What should I start with and what are some "beginner" exercises?

if you are over wieght i would suggest to enroll on a Curves program they work miracles!

Im begining in the new year too! Im kinda a beginer so yah! This is what im planning on doing; 30 seconds of the folloing; push ups, sit ups, crunches, lunges, squats, wall squats, leg lifts, and jumping jacks. I also plan on buying an hour long fitness dvd and doing that 3 times a weeks. Then finally 15 minutes of yoga everyday, want someone todo it with email milkyway700@yahoo.com good luck = ]]

Start with walking as far as you can, then increase the distance and pace!
