Since Al-Qaeda is more of a political organization rather than a religious one. if they do want to it is probably for some political end and not a spiritual one.

And the concept of jihad seems to be used interchangeably, but I think the the literal translation means "one who struggles" and not one who commits suicide and kills others because of their struggle, which to me seems more like people who are confused by others who are attempting to accomplish some political/social objective under the auspices of religion.

Ok, first off, Alqaida is an extremist group from the Sunni Muslims known as Wahabbi's. Even the Wahabbi's take Islam to a whole new level that a lot of Sunni's don't even practice, then Alqaida is just like wayyy off the edge for what they do. But, Wahabbi's and Alqaida are like still friends in some way, and most of them have training camps and so forth in Saudia arabia... so I don't know why they would want to attack their own homeland. Can you tell me where you go such info, because if anything, they are the ones that are protecting the Kabba and running things down there.

Because, as muslims have been saying for years, Al Qaeda is not acting according to Islam. The Quran says not to stop people from the path of worship, and that includes Hajj. Islam says women are obligated to get the best education possible, yet these dogs kill females for doing so. WOmen have the right to work and do with their wages as they see fit, but these dogs refuse to let a woman support her family even after her husband has been "martyred " (sent to hell for killing innocent people) in support of them. Al Qaeda also kidnaps women in the middle of the night and forces them into unwanted marriages, whereas the Quran says she must not be dealt with this way and she has every right to choose. Al Qaeda is not muslim. They use the name of Islam and drag it through the mud. Hearing this angers me greatly, but it also gives me hope as a muslim woman, because now people might wake up and see that the terrorists have hijacked religion and don't follow it. Otherwise, they would be FORCING muslims to go on Hajj instead of preventing them since Hajj is mandatory on every muslim and one of the five pillars.
