If the ties get loose or removed, then pregnancy is very possible povided the tubes were not cut and just tied. If the tubes are cut (ligated) and tied then pregnancy is most unlikely to occur.

Well, theres always a possibility that you can get pregnant, no matter how much they say it wont happen. My friend got her tubes tied and then a while later she got pregnant again.

first a few questions for you. did you have your tubes untied? are you trying to have a baby? i had my tubes tied over six years ago and have never got pregnant. my friend had her tubes tied for about four years and when she remarried she had them untied, she had 4 miscarages but she finally delivered a healthy baby boy 2 months ago 3 1/2 years after having them untied. if you did have them untied its not a sure thing that you will ever get pregnant but dont get discouraged if its meant to be than it will happen. good luck - mother of 6 in PA.

I had a bilateral tubal ligation about 3-4yrs ago and it has not given me any problems, I did ask my doctor at the time if it was reversable and he said it was but it is 50% chance to be able to get pregnant again. although I have heard some stories that the surgery failed 10yrs later so you might want to bring this up to your doctor.
