It merely represents some kind of repressed feelings you may have subconsciously from your youth. The fact that it was of an intimate nature may symbolize a current dilemma in your sexual prowess. Intimacy issues? Lust? Confusion? It does not mean you are homosexual. Be true to your feelings.

No, you're not going insane. Insanity is defined as a relatively permanent disorder of the mind (not defined as doing the same thing over and over & expecting different results -- that's just a quote from Einstein).
Dreaming that you are a lesbian does not make you a lesbian. Having a sexual attraction to women would make you a lesbian.
It's difficult, if not impossible to control the setting of your dreams. Though it is weird how it's your own brain, yet the element of surprise and all the emotions are there as though it's real.
Carl Jung suggested that all the people your dreams are yourself. I don't know if I believe that. I'm a strong believer of the idea that since a dream is being fed to you by your own head, only you can correctly interpret it, and however you choose to interpret your dream is correct.

curiosity killed the cat, but that doesn't mean anything here. Dreaming of lesbian encounters might not have anything to do with sex or sexuality, it may be a dilema you're struggling with that has it's manifestation in the expression of a lesbian encounter, especially since it's a subject matter counter to your expressed belief patterns. Check what's going on in your life and see if there's anything new or challenging that's making you feel awkward inside. Because if you're not lesbian, then a lesbian encounter would make you feel strange, and thus, as a parallel, something completely unrelated that is making you feel awkward has caused you to address the dilema in this fashion

Who was the person in the dream? What did she look like? Did she remind you of anyone? Have you ever had sex? What does sex mean to you? Is it bad or good? What is the first thing you think of when you think of lesbians?
The way to interpret dreams is to ask questions like this. Write the dream down as you remember it, then go back and read it. When you read it, write down questions about everything as if you were an alien from another planet and didn't understand anything. When you get to the end, go back and answer the questions.

in the start i imagine that desires ought to do with mind! (I dont recommend some thing) I recommend that this would nicely be led to because possibly your psychosinthesis has replaced (LOL psychosinthesis i dont if thats the international in english, yet thats in Greek).Had you any kin problems? How are your mother and father? Are they possibly separated or nonetheless in love?Did you've any twist of destiny at your head? Are your human beings prevalent?possibly a number of them insult you for such issues? ok i recommend that dreaming issues, is because you've some thing on your options. And in case you dreamed by twist of destiny this, then the different day you reported "OMG why the ****** i dreamed this??! OMG OMG OMG WTF!!!!!" yet because you've been deliberating this then the different day you dreamed it back!!

There is nothing wrong with you and you are not going insane...There is just a part of you that is curious about lesbians and what it would be like...Dreams are ways to work thru things and to sort things out...And this is just a safe way for you to explorer...

I think you might be understanding the dream incorrectly.
In your dream you are everyone.
In your dream is one person calm and quiet and the other more dominate??
Your subconscious or your inner needs may be pulling you to lead a more spontanious, more bold and more erotic lifestyle. It maybe something you secretly desire. Everyone need some excitement in their life and you probably just need some of your own.

No. Sex could be anything. It depends upon what the situation represents to you.
I drempt one night I slept with a man who was not my husband and he found out and was horribly hurt.
My dream was about how I betrayed his trust. (I mentioning a secret to his father in real life). It was not really about sex.
What did that act mean to you in your dream?
Have you ever felt that way in real life about someone?
Does anyone in real life give you the feelings you had in your dream?
(I am sure that there were other feelings in the dream aside from the ones of a sexual nature)
