okay so. my dog is half labrador half pitbull. he totally turned my backyard and home upside down. he digs holes, he chews on the flowers. he tears up all his toys, he always pulls out his bedsheet covers and so on. are all dogs like this? how do i train him not to do this?

My golden retriever has the yard dug up and the shrubs destroyed. I've heard that if you fill a pop can with coins and throw it near her everytime they start digging you can train them not to....of course that requires you actually watching your dog all the time to catch them in the act. I don't bother. I think she probably does it mainly because she is bored. Try to do a lot of things with your dog and exercise him a lot to wear him out. When my dog has had an active day away from the house, she is more prone to not be destructive. Good luck.

no. not all dogs are like this, even not all puppies!
but that is probably just because it is HALF pit bull. chewing on flowers is kind of ok. just make sure that he dosen't eat the wrong flowers. digging holes, that's a natural dog thing. my puppy did that, so we put rocks where she was digging. tearing up toys, that's natural, too. just, maybe if your dog tears up toys more than once a day, try to give him some hard toys.
