Angry American is surely right. Enduring the cross. Even for those yet His enemies, as many here appear to be.

I'd say Gethsemane because His sweat became as great drops of blood and an angel had to strengthen Him. He would have died before He got to the cross. It was in the garden where He completely yielded to His Father's will. He knew full well everything He would go through physically, mentally as well as spiritually, yet He did so willingly. What a temptation to turn away from from the beating, the mocking, the crown of thorns, the cross and more than any human mind can comprehend and knowing then after you did all this so many people would reject You. All I can say is Thank you Jesus for doing it also for me.

I'd say trying to dispel people's worship of him. It's tough when you know that you are not to be worshipped, and to do so is completely against what you were sent to preach, but yet followers try to make you a diety.

Not Jesus' fault, but certainly that would be quite a difficult test to overcome.

The Cross because of the cup of sin from all mankind that He had to endure. But Jesus said, "Father, not My will, but Your will be done." Jesus was the God man, but Jesus was also human while in the flesh. Can you imagine taking every ugly sin, every disease, every infliction of twisting body parts and pain on yourself? This is one test that only God could pass.

With respect, maybe eating pork, if it was a new mediterranean religion and he gave up Judaism. But I think it must be Gethsemane actually. Although most people might think Golgotha.

Obviously it was dealing with satan in the wilderness, while fasting on water for 40 days.

The crucifixion was not a test, it was his task.
