Surah 2 (al-baqarah, the cow), verse 47:
"O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you and how I preferred you to (all) creatures."

I wonder about the meaning of this verse, in light of the fact that I've heard some complain about Jews claiming to be "chosen." Because this verse seems to agree they were chosen.

It goes back to the Arbrahamic Covenant when God promised to make Abraham's children mighty, numerous, and a blessing to the whole world.

Both Israel and the Arabs are Abraham's children.
Abraham had Ismael first, with Hagar the bondwoman to Abraham's wife Sarah,
Then later on Abraham has Isaac with Sarah.

Now the descendants of Ishmael (Arabs) and the descendants of Isaac (Jews) argue about which one has the promise of God.
(Scripturally, they both do, EXCEPT that Messiah is prophesied to come from the Tribe of Judah, the bloodline of Isaac.)

My fellow brother-Al salaam alikom Al Qaida at the on the spot are not all the Muslims, and do not trust each little thing they say my brother, they are basically a collection and they don't seem to be all the Muslims that are in this international. speaking of which, Palestine, which Israel claims its their land, is the principality of the Palestinian bothers and definite god reported that Moses and his followers might want to easily enter Al-Kods, yet now to not take the finished of Palestine. So this does not recommend that god instructed them to take Palestine and modify it to the call of Israel (Saydna Yaqoub). Palestine is a rustic and Israel invaded Palestine and they declare that they have got the right to take Palestine because god instructed them basically to enter Al-Kods like what i discussed beforehand. we are not arguing with Israel we basically choose them to end killing our Palestinian brothers, and in the experience that they choose stay with the Palestinians then its ok, yet for sure presently its not ok in any respect because the Israeli squaddies are killing harmless Palestinians. Peace upon the Christians, the Jews, and the different religions.

Nothing against Jews as my best friend is Jewish.

Surah 2 (al-baqarah, the cow), verse 47:
"O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you and how I preferred you to (all) creatures."

This verse says "I preferred you" meaning in the past tense. Israel was sent into the captivity in Babylon starting in 721 BC and came out of it in 457 bc at the order of the Zoroastrian king Artaxerxes after the Zoroastrians conquered Babylon. Israel went into captivity for their disobedience to God and further disobeyed God while in captivity. The captivity resulted in the loss of the Arc of the Covenant and the temple so that they could not practice their religion. This prepared them for the coming of the Messiah whom they then rejected and who foretold that "not one stone would be left standing on another" when Jerusalem would be destroyed. In 70 AD the city was destroyed to that degree. So are the Israelites still the favorites? Sure they are Paul spoke of the true jews who, accepting Jesus would remain on the tree of life and others, gentiles, who would become true jews by being grafted in. Christians to a man have done the same thing to the return of the Messiah. They seem not to care that they have been so immersed in the myths spread by the clergy.

By the time the Prophet Muhammad came along in 613 AD the city had long been crushed and the jews scattered. In 1260 AH the muslims began to reject the forerunner of the Messiah and in 1290 AH they rejected the Messiah on his return. These people were foretold by Muhammad and Jesus. They were foretold by name, date, address and mission in the bible. They fulfilled the prophecies of other religions as well.

The True Jews of today are the ones who accept the Messiah on His return. These are obedient to God and are favored by Him. As Paul has said, it would be wrong to vaunt oneself over others for being grafted in since one could be cut off and the original branches grafted back in. So it is that become prideful has its consequences. As you have witnessed that the captivity of Babylon and the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD could be the result of that, the idolatry and being "stiffnecked". They could always be grafted back in for doing the right thing.

As the first group of monotheists, they were chosen to receive the Torah. That's the meaning of chosen, as Jews and Christians are both considered "People of the Book" for having received the Torah, and later the Injeel (Gospels)

I dont why it says alot of stuff, like this for example.

65.4 You can marry (and divorce) little girls who have not yet reached menstruation age.

Our prophet married Ayesha at age 6 to comply with this aya. However due to her tender age he had to restrict himself to thighing before she reached age of 9.

Thighing is defined by Islamic scholar Khomeini in "Tahrirolvasyleh" fourth volume, Darol Elm, Gom, Iran, 1990 as follows:

"Thighing is a means for an adult male to enjoy a young girl who is still in the age of weaning; meaning to place his penis between her thighs, and to kiss her."

The following is from a committee of muslim ulema answering the question:

"the Prophet, the peace of Allah be upon him, practiced "thighing" of Aisha - the mother of believers - may Allah be pleased with her."

Ah ha! You say the Qur'an but you quote from the beginning of the Qur'an.

Now, I am sure you already know what I am going to type (say) next.

Would you like to guess?

Your quote from a time when Muhammad lived in Mecca. During a time when he was a young man and was married to an old rich woman.

Is that true or not? Did Muhammad marry an old rich woman?

It was a time when his audience were Jews from Israel.(there at that Oasis called Mecca)

Is that true or not true? Did Jewish Caravans stop over at Mecca to take on water and discuss religion?

It was a time before Muhammad was kicked out of Mecca.

Is that true or not? (Remember Allah is listening to your answer)

Was it a time in Muhammad's life before he was kicked out of Mecca? Or Was it written (spoken) by Muhammad after he was kicked out of Mecca and became bitter toward Israelites and Christians?

Simply answer these questions. Why? Because the answers to these questions are the answer to your question.

"Yeah though I trusted Muhammad with my wisdom, he has turned bitter, and is now killing my innocent children of Earth."

Who would say such a thing? Not me. But, can you hear Allah saying that about those who strap suicide bombs to their bodies and kill innocent children.

Can you hear him say, "If you support your Cleric, the Terrorists will force your Cleric to give them money to buy more bombs. If You support your Clerics, you will be responsible for killing my children of Earth"

Listen to Allah, see that he has only one message:

"Harmony is harmony.

Disharmony is always a sin against me."
