For the most part, Canon has ditched their bottom line products to deliver better products. The good news about this is that Canon has dropped prices on some pretty good cameras. They have a 6.0 megapixel camera that retails for about $400 (model #POWERSHOT-A540). I can get a new one for you for around $275 plus shipping. I'm going to say the Powershot series but a great camera from Canon thats new and small and has great picture quality is the G7. Here check it out!
