I would like to have a small elegant cocktail reception after my ceremony. I am looking for an intimate, classy venue either in NYC or the surrounding boroughs. Any suggestions would be a HUGE help

I actually got married at Harbour Lights at South Street Seaport. They have tables outside, with a magnificent view of the Brooklyn Bridge (especially at night). They can offer group menus, but we only had about 10-12 people at our intimate wedding, so we just ordered off the regular menu. Perhaps you can pay for an hour of open bar, and then select a few appetizers that people can share together, if you don't want to go with a group menu.
