Is the Butcher Shop steakhouse really owned by the mob in San Diego?

I've heard that the waitresses will even go home with you!?

Actually two different questions.
In Mission Valley it was owned by a non-mob New York Italian family
(dePhillipis) and was a favorite hang-out for prostitutes
(not, necessarily waitresses)
In Kearney Mesa, while it offers the same ambiance, menu, lingerie show, etc - it has new owners.
