Last time I checked winrar has a free trial version that works forever, and you never have to register. You can just keep using it forever.

That is what I do.

You can't download a full version for free, but you can download a "trial version" and then after it outlasts itself, i guess you just download the free trial again. And I know there's a free trial-i used it before

just download the free version from winrar.com or if u want the full version try limewire or something like that
