Fist of all have you done research on different breeds to see which one is best for you!! All breeds need different kinds of care and just buying them is not the expensive part, the vet bills can also be a problem! I would suggest adoption from the local animal shelter, these dogs will already be fixed and have the shots they need. Be prepared though! All animals just like people get sick every once in a while and will need to goto the Doctors. Good luck

You can try adopting a dog from a shelter/rescue league @ www.petfinder.org. However you have to realize that having a dog is a reoccuring cost (food, toys, vet visits, emergency vet visits, treats, etc.) in money as well as time. That the cost starts @ adopting the dog and continues on throughout the dogs lifetime for the next 12-15 years of your life and the dogs life.
If you try to adopt most place will not adopt to people under the age of 18 without parent consent and they also require that you fill out an application. Good Luck.

if you're searching for a canines for a cheap cost, then I recommend you try your community animal safeguard. i tips you now to not bypass to a puppy shop, because you received't get precise health and breeding information on any animal you purchase there. maximum pups and cats offered at puppy shops are from breeding turbines who're basically out for the money, not for the health or good breeding of the animal. An animal safeguard would have the domestic dog's photos up as a lot as now, that's going to likely be spayed or neutered for you already and also you received't ought to pay an arm and a leg for a gorgeous domestic dog.

If you want a pitbull...visit a local rescue shelter. They are full of those type of dogs when people realize they cannot handle them ( some still in puppy phase) You adoption fees will be will be minimal compared to buying a puppy from a puppy mill, plus you will potentially save a life.

Please only adopt a puppy if you are 100% sure you can take care of it for the rest of it's life.
If you know you can take care of a dog for the next 14 years then that's good. Please do not tie it up in your yard and leave it for hours. Dogs are very, very social animals and need to be around us, not left in the yard all day and night. If you do leave it in the yard you need to make sure it is protected from all environmental factors including wind, rain, cold, and heat.

Going to the humane society is your best bet, but just remember they don't come with a health garuntee there. As for getting a pit bull be careful. My aunt is a vet, and out ouf all the animals she works on she's had them attack her the most. So just be prepared for him/her turning on you or your family for no reason. Not saying it will happen, but Im not saying it won't either.

If you don't want to dish out tons of money just purchasing the dog, which I can completely understand, I'd never do that, try the humane society. Tons of good, cute dogs/puppies there need good homes.

Don't settle for a cheap pure breed- often if they are cheap it is a sign of inbreeding, and does not make for a good dog, and a pitbull is not a good dog, some are great, some are bad, some are good for 10 yrs then turn on you, and in most states are illegal, in my county that i live in they are illegal!
