the state the cars plates are in, should have the motor vehicle registration, and where to find copy of car title. from there you can find the person with the address on the paperwork.

Well first off i suppose you would need to say exactly what kind of information on the vehicle you have.
if you have a VIN nmber you could go to a dealership and they may be able to tell you who was the original owner and if it is not them perhaps they have info about who they sold it to. follow the trail. if you just have a liscense plate number than you would need some connection in the dmv or a police officer. it also depends a lot on why you want to find out.
good luck

Phone the cops, maybe it is abandoned after being stolen from the owner? Or the owner was partying and forgot where he left his vehicle which sometimes does happen. Phone in the licence plate number.

take the vin number to the local police or dmv. you can find it by looking through the windshield on the drivers side in the very bottom corner where the dash and the windsheild meet.

D.M.V. has the records for that. If it's abandoned then you can contact the police
