I have a feeling anything you buy online is going to be gross by the time it gets to you; dipped fruit needs to be eaten within a day or so of dipping. Plus it's really hard to ship fruit (not to mention chocolate) because the temperature has to be kept under a certain degree or the fruit will rot/ chocolate will melt. So either go to your closest Godiva store - $30 will get you about 7 strawberries, or make your own - $30 will get you a heck of a lot more than 7, unless you live in Alaska or something where strawberries are hard to come by.

Do it yourself. Just go to the store, buy some strawberries in the grocery section, then go and buy some 'chocolate' bark or chocolate coating, melt it in the microwave. Wash and dry the berries off, dip them in the coating (melt at low heat), put on wax paper to dry. The coating won't turn gray because it doesn't have cocoa butter in it.

why buy something like that on line when it is ultra simple to make yourself...buy chocolate chips and fresh strawberries. stawberries are actually available year round in most grocery stores or produce markets...melt chips in microwave(using microwave safe bowl), or in a mixing bowl atop a pan of boiling water...dip strawberries holding the stem end, and place on wax paper to dry...like i said, ultra easy, and very impressive to the recipient.

It's easier and more cost effective to dip them yourself.
They are indeed out of season.
I have seen them online but not less than 30 dollars.

It's possible to find decent strawberries at the local super markets, make your own,..I would. They would probably taste better too.
