First GEICO specializes in car and motorcycle insurance, second GEICO does pay their bills unlike what another answerer suggested, it is a Berkshire Hathaway Company(Heard the name Warren Buffet)which means financial backing like no other.As far as life insurance is concerned you need to look for someone reputable and with the financial backbone to handle any claim You can find listings of the top companies at AMBest.com it's a watchdog group for insurance companies and rates them it is a very good tool to assist you on your decision. I would not get life insurance from Geico. This is a policy that you will be keeping for a long time, hopefully. Consider a quality company that you know will pay.

Geico specializes in car insurance. I'm not even sure that they have a life ins. branch. Best thing is to call them and ask.
