Wow......looks like a ripoff to me. Just another scam to collect cash with a charity that has a nice sounding name.....and give only a small percent to the people that it's supposed to help.

I see it's "President" makes a cool $67,500. a year. I wonder how many of these "charities" he's President of? Imagine if he ran 5 of these?........Not a bad scam....not bad at all.

This "charity" sounds like a waste of your money.

Good catch, Bostonian!

I recently read an article that Indicated that this fund had collected well over $120 million dollars over the past several years. The only thing they did was to was to send the military some pencils and never sent any money to any branch of the Service. It is disgusting that this organization is still requesting money and donations from Veterans like myself. They should be forced out of business.

I did not know the info. expressed on this page, and I just recently tried to donate my car, after seeing their web-site. I filled out the e-form, then received an e-mail from a rep. I called them to arrange a pick-up time and they agreed to call me back to verify the arrangement. After another day went by, I received a phone message that said "thank you", but "no thanks"..... we are not interested in your vehicle donation. No reason was given for that decision and I now have no confidence in that organization. Their web page states that all vehicles are accepted and appreciated and mine is even driveable. I will now attempt to find a legitimate organization that may be interested in my vehicle donation.

The are "legit" in that they do exist, but their fund raising expenses are VERY high.
