Sadism and Masochism. People who are sadists are sadistic, meaning they enjoy inflicting pain upon others. Those who are masochists are masochistic, meaning they enjoy having pain inflicted upon them. It's not necessarily tied to sexual fetish, but S&M as a fetish has the same meaning.
