I think you still got the stone or another one, go back to the doctor.
Also depending on where you live, if there are lots of minerals in the water, especially calcium, they actually cause these awful things over time! Switch to bottled water or at least ask the Dr. about it.
where I live, they tell all kidney stone patients to lay off the local water.

ok, here is what you do. do not drink any sodas. go to the store and buy some gatorade or powerade and lots of it. drink as much as you can as fast as you can and the flood of fluid into your kidneys and ureters will cause the stone to pass. you could either have a calcium or a magnesium stone so it may not matter about your tap water. i had kidney stones a few years ago and the urologist i saw told me to drink the gatorade. the number one thing is to not let your body get dehydrated. drink LOTS of water everyday. also some sort of driving or jumping around could cause the stone to knock loose from where it is lodged and help it pass. i passed one after going out on a ski boat once. aahhhhhhhh

I had kidney stones about three years ago. I was the same exact way. They told me that I would know when it passed, but I never felt anything. I'm not a doctor, but I would recommend that you make an emergency appt. with your doc. Especially if you are in pain and cant take the meds.

I had the same experience and my husband had the same experience. Go to the ER and do not leave until you see a Urologist. Insist on it.
You may need to have a cystoscope or may even need lithotripsy. (sound waves that crush the stone).
For some reason, people do not understand how painful this really is and how you feel like you want to die!
Best wishes!

If you are still having pain, you have not passed the stone, it could be stuck in the renal pelvis. When this happened to me the doctor ordered a test called a KUB and that resulted in my admission to the hospital for lithotripsy to blast the stone to dust.
It was too large to pass thru my ureturs. Strongly suggest you go back to your doctor, if you could pass the stone, you would have by now.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.
They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!
This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.
It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

GO BACK TO YOUR DOCTOR OR GO TO THE ER. I DOUBT YOU PASSED THE STONE YET. I HAVE HAD THIS TWICE AND THE PAIN IS SO UNBEARABLE ESPECIALLY IF YOU CANT KEEP THE PAIN MEDICATION DOWN.
GOOD LUCK I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER REALLY SOON!!!
