There's a lot of speculation and controversy over the amount and type of Vitamin E for the minimum daily requirement. The amount you are mentioning is extreme. The upper limit is 1000 IU's and they have not (to my knowledge) established the activity of the various isomers. The primary danger with intake of high dosages is the suppression of your blood clotting factors. You could easily bleed to dead from too much anticoagulant.
I thought that you applied the Vitamin E to the healing or scared tissue, not taking massive amounts internally. And Vitamin E being a fat-soluble chemical, can build up in your system unlike water -soluble vitamins which are excreted.

The highter the better but be careful with taking to much. People can become toxic on vitamins A,D,E, and K. These are absorbed through fat cells so build up quickly and cause toxicity...the rest of the vitamins are water soluble and will be excreted through the urine. The higher the IU's the more potent...International Units

A Plastic Surgeon told me it didn't matter what you rubbed on the scar, it was the massage that did the trick. The massage increases circulation to the area, aiding in the healing process. I hope you are not thinking of taking 32K IU by mouth, unless a physician has ordered this for you.

Yes.

Also keep in mind that it's a fat soluble vitamin. Which means if there's excess Vitamin E in your system, your body will simply store it. So taking more of it does not necessary mean the better result, it'll just keep you primed and ready. It's all about finding out where the plateau is.
