Is he your son? Then the reason he has no manners and doesn't respect you is because you never taught him those values when he was a boy. If he is just some kid you know, ignore him.

There are a few ways I can think of:
Ignore the idiot
Talk to their parents about it
The main thing to consider is the why? Generally folks act a fool for a reason. The more you know, the better ammo you have to use.
And if all else fails:
Beat the stuffing out of the offending person

Ignore the doodoo out of them.
It's typical "mommy" advice, but seriously: there's nothing like the satisfaction of not giving two shakes of a peacock's wee what smart@%& no-manners punks are saying or doing.
And really, those types of people are usually looking for attention, so when you withhold it, the problem typically goes away.

Depends on the situation. Ignoring the person often works...people like to get attention, and if bad behavior is the attention getter, than that's the mode they're going to use...You might try talking to them...or if its a pain in the a*ss kid to their parents...its funny how many bad a*ss little buggers out there are COMPLETELY different people around their Mom or Dad...or worse yet GRANDMA! LOL!!! There's nothing funnier than seeing someone trying to be all bada*ss completely DEFLATE when they hear their Grandmother or someone calling them! Of course, "beating the dodo out of them" is often what is needed. My brother's best friend is a kid who used to try to bully him in grade school. My brother kicked his a*ss and they were inseparable. You could also go the whole tender caring route and find out why they're so angry...

Tell them what you think of them. Let 'em have it. Speak your mind. Why do people always want to tip toe around any type of confrontation? Hash out your problems head on. From the tone of your post, seems this person has already gotten the better of you and their probably having a good time doing it. Stand up for yourself already!

I have a brother like that, Not only is he a smart *** he's also a know it all, But my simple solution is ingroe him, Its been my experiance that people like this do it for attention, and if that don't work then I would just stay away from him, then maybe the person will get the hint.

You need to knock them down a peg or two! You could be sarcastic! But you don't want to come across a b***h! Talk about a topic that you have great knowledge on or, i don't know, when you see the opportunity take it! They would soon change there tune around you!
