Approach and ask her what she's doing this weekend. If she says nothing, ask if she would like to go with you to the movies or something. If she says yes, then great, exchange the time and place where you can pick her up.

If you already talk to her, confuse her a lil, ask if she wants to just hang out, very casual but once the only the two of you are hanging out make lil effort to make her feel special. If it all goes well, ask if she want to go for dinner something like that "like u know 2nd date. Once she is comfortable she'll be fine. If you don't talk to her but just eying her, smile, every time you see her, say hi then go for the kill. Member she's the shy one not u, sometimes the shy ones need a lil nudge and then it's all smooth. Good luck!

Very gently. To something she is really interested in, and in a fairly non-threatening environment. Something she knows about, so she can tell you and be more confident. Depending on where her shyness comes from, maybe a double date with a good friend of hers, to help give her confidence.

if you aren't shy you should be able to do it, this girl may refuse you once, but she is probably just nervous. try just asking her, and if that doesn't work free gifts are something all girls love.
