ok, so lately i've been getting these really bad pains in the side of my foot near my toes. This part of my foot also sticks out a little bit, but my dad's does too(maybe i inheritited it? wtever) but he doesn't get pains. We went to a regular doctor, he said he thought it was bcause my shoes were too tight and after getting new ones and loosening them, it still bothers me. The pains are really bad, and it hurts to the touch. Any ideas?

If your regular doctor couldn't see what was wrong, you need to go see a foot doctor. They are specialists and can examine your foot to figure out the problem and then solution. You could have some kind of fracture or brake and not even it know it. Make an appointment as soon as possible before you do major damage to your foot. Good Luck!

if it is on the side of the big toe, it is probably bunions.
which is caused by incorrect foot mechanics causing the
bone to build up and will get worse as you age.
it is aggravated by tight shoes and as it gets worse, any kind of shoes.
some doctors do surgery for bunions, but
i don't know if that's really a good idea.
but if it is on the side with the little toe,
i have no advice.
i can't tell your problem...
but try looking up morton's neuroma...
it is a foot condition where the nerve gets a hard coating and it hurst.
plantar faschiaitis (gosh i don't know how to spell it)
usually hurts just in front of the heel.
if i were you i would reserch bunions.
that is most likely your problem.
i found a quick link to some bunion info.
even the dahli lama has bunions.
and my dance teacher.
