There are many reasons a cat likes his/her owners bed.
1. It is very warm! Cat's love warm cuddly places to sleep because it makes them feel safe.
2. Cats will, like dogs and children, want to sleep with their parent to feel safe.
3. A cat will lay in your bed while you sleep to keep a watchful eye on everything. He/she is protecting the master.
4. Some cats will lay in your bed to tell other cats(if you have more than one) "Hey! This is mine!"

There are infinite reasons why a cat loves the human bed..isn't it so adorable!

When I brought my cat to my new apartment after I had lived there a few weeks, he liked my bed a lot, too. I was told that it was probably because there was a strong scent of me there that made him feel comfortable.

Well, cats like clean spaces to sleep as well. So they love you plus if you keep your bedsheets clean they really love you. My cat used to love to play in the sheets as changed the bed with sheets straight from the dryer!
