Drink tonic water...it contains quinine which has been used to treat leg cramps for decades. It is inexpensive and available at all grocery stores. It is bitter, so mix flavoring and sweetener in. Drink at least 8 ounces an hour before bedtime to reduce night time cramps and "charleyhorses". Also, make sure you are not deficient on potassium or calcium...eat bananas and /or oranges.

I have a remedy but it's not in pill form. Take a bar of regular bar soap, and put it in between your bed and your sheet down near your feet, this has been very effective for me. I have RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) and it's the only cure I've found.

Also try potassium supplements, when your body is low on this it can cause cramps in your legs and feet. I'm not a professional, but someone told me this and it works for me. You can get these anywhere that sells vitamins or health supplements.
