In the morning, he meows like crazy until I scratch him allover. If I'm busy, I copy his every meow and he seems to like it and meow more. I'm not sure if he realy does like it. I don't want to annoy him!

If it's fun for you and he doesn't bite you for it, go ahead! Cats are strange little things, and each one has their own weird quirks. One of mine will only meow when she knows she's doing something wrong, and it's more of a squeak. Have fun!!

I agree, cats like it! I do that to both of my cats and they even change up the meows like we're having some intense conversation. They always rub all over me when I do it too. Enjoy it!

I think the cat would let you know if you were annoying him....so I wouldn't worry about copying his meows..... sounds like fun for him.

that's kinda weird. but if that's what makes your cat happy, then ookay.
you know what i would do if i had a cat and i was really busy? i would record a meow and play it when your cat's asking for a meow, so its minus the effort when your busy. hope it helps >_<

When my cat wants me to play with her, she goes to the top of the stairs and meows to me like calling me. When I don't feel like playing I "meow" back and it's like she understands, stops and comes to snuggle next to me. I think she actually understands, so don't stop, your cat is just talking to you!

I sure hope they like it, I meow at my 3 kitties all the time...my oldest talks back to me...its really cute =)

Oh my God! That first cat looks basically like my Grandma's! His call grew to become into Simon! And that 2nd cat looks basically like my cat, Henri! call them Simon and Henri! that must be so cool

Well...you never do know what you're saying to him. ou might be cursing at him and not even know it! That's why i don't meow at my cat unless I'm annoyed at her or something...
