For those of you that answered about homeless care package..who would actually put one together to send to NY?

If you are serious about sending a care package to be handed out please contact me via email. There are many homeless people on the streets everyday that could use a handout.

I was on the train this morning and there was a homeless guy who obviously had not showered in ages and the conductor was sorta making fun of it on the loud speaker.. he gave everyone 7 Mississippi's to switch cars..everyone laughed but I thought if I just had something to give this guy to make his day better besides money.

Are there lists of shelters available for NYC? If so, then writing to the shelter, phoning or e-mailing will give you the answers. The staff there could tell you what's needed and how to send it. The staff can then distribute the goods.

There are homeless everywhere. So, if the responders don't want to send their packages to NYC, they can locate shelters in their areas and drop them off or mail them locally.

There are 3 styles of question: There are those which I planned to be real, requiring real solutions; ones i attempt to respond to and supply common experience solutions to. There are those that are rather ridiculous yet ...... nicely i'm able to get 2 factors for giving the two ridiculous solutions and there are those I in basic terms forget approximately because of the fact of their stupidity or silliness; they are meaningless or offensive and that i ought to easily answer them with the two offensive replies yet attempt to evade ... till i've got been on the sherry returned. You are crazy. Do something that will actually make a difference. Helping homeless people is like peeing on a house fire. Sure you feel like you are making a difference and you look like an important person but you arent doing anything. Per my previous answer, go to an orphange and help them.
