I almost had se.x the other night with my boyfriend. We love each other very much and he says that he respects my decision to remain a virgin till marriage and I don't want to get married till I'm out of medical school and blah, blah, blah. So, its kind of a long wait for him. But we got so close to doing it. He said it was very hard for him to hold himself back and that it would of happened had I not told him that I trust him not to do it. Is it really that hard for a guy or was he just saying that?

Let me tell you something. This is a real man. Not because he stops when you say so but the fact that he honors and respects you and actually, physically manifests it in his actions. There is a possibility that he would go elsewhere but it appears this guy isn't putting his shoes under someone else's bed, if you know what I mean. From a life experience, it is really really really hard to stop the jugernaut called a man's libido. What happened is very much equivalent to running into a brick wall at 35 MPH with a hard on and no brakes. Not to put pressure on you but you have to find other avenues or ways to assure him that the wait will be worth it. Keep in mind, being a med student, you should know, the male mind is very simplistic. If he can't eat at one place, he may start to wander off. Sounds like a great guy. Keep him.

Sure it would be hard to hold back if your getting him all hot and bothered and then pulling back. It's called teasing. Where does he go after he leaves your place? A man cant and wont wait forever. He may not be going all the way with you but it doesn't mean he isn't finding it somewhere else. Sex is just sex to alot of men. They can have a one night stand and not feel anything for the girl who gives it up. Or feel guilty for doing it.

Believe it or not, its not an act. It is almost instinctive for guys to wanna have sex as soon as they hit maturity. There is nothing you can do to stop that one. So the new question is how do you get around it. Well you can't! What you guys can do is an alternative to intercourse like oral or just messing around with your hands. It's not the real thing but its the next best alternative. It will allow your boyfriend to let go some of that built up energy, and hey it takes stress off of you as well!

It can be hard for a guy to hold back because of the emotions which he is feeling. Also, there are guys who have no trouble in waiting for what they know is worth waiting for. I think you did the right thing in not wanting to do it. He should restrain himself and realize that intimacy is something to be cherished between two people who truly love each other. You realize this and he needs to realize it. Maybe if you explain to him how important it is to wait he will understand and agree and it may be that then he can be more able to restrain himself for what he will know will be truly a life-changing experience. After all, intimacy is the most wonderful expression of true love between two people. Trust me.

Thank god he is showing you he has respect for you and he is not totally for himself-------------I am certain it is not easy but at the same time this shows you he really does care about you----you should be so lucky. Yes it is. Man your man is gonna be choking that chicken for a long time. :) It is even harder when you guys doing all that sexual stuff. Yes it is. Once they get like that is starts to hurt their member. If they stay erect long enough it won't go away. They have to release the pressure themselfor you should lend him a hand. If you love him and want to wait til you get married stop doing that to him. I have a friend that did that to her boyfriendall the time, they are nolonger togerther. She still asks me "WHY DID HE DUMP Me?"

It's probably hard for him if he told you it's hard for him. But I think he is a very good person, since even though he wants to dit, he won't because he respects your decision. That is a very good trait.
