It depends on how serious you guys are. If you have been together for years, and made concrete plans which he blew off, then you have a valid reason to be upset.

If however, you have been dating for a few months, than no. Not as much a reason. Please look at the situation and think about what you did, and what you both said you would be doing leading up to the days.

I, personnally, was out West until christmas eve, and got in late. I called my guy (of 2 years, very serious) when I arrived, and the next day he came over for a bit of turkey and for pressie exchange.

Do not expect the world of people, even of spouses, because there are other things going on like work, family, stress... etc.

If he spent Christmas with a family member or at a family reunion, let it pass. Christmas is majorly meant for the family, after all. And if it's with his associates and friends, keep in mind that he still needs time with his boys like you need to with your girls.

But if he spent Christmas with a female in a more-than-friendly way, you should consider questioning him. State your question in a calm, serious manner without sounding over-frustrated (don't get him too nervous). Figure out a conclusion to your problem though conversation and debate. It might be worth breaking up, or it might not.

Does your boyfriend live near you or is this a long-distance relationship?

Long distance is understandable, but if he just lives across the street (relatively speaking) then you need to let him know that his priorities need to be straightened out and then just leave if he doesn't change.

Some people (doesn't matter gender) are really clueless and unless you tell them what has hurt you, they'll never get it.

good luck.

He sure isn't! Don't feel bad. The same happened to me on Christmas Eve. He did come over Christmas (in the early am), but I didn't get a present.

I am not mad, sad or upset. Because there are other men who bought me something.

You actually still call him your boyfriend? You deserve better, and don't fall for the BS excuses he may come up with. If he loved you, he would have never disrespected you like that or be totally oblivious to you and your feelings. Leave his butt before your ego goes out the door!

If he's your boyfriend and he was with someone else that wasnt a girl like family then give a him another chance to make it up to you. If he's cheating. Screw him.
