Only the obvious, go have it done and also have him get tested for other STD's. Where there's one there is often another.

The pain won't be much at all and he'll be taking some medicine too, I'm sure.

Don't waist time and tell him not to have sex with anyone, till he's cleared by the Dr..

He will have to go to the doctor--tell him DO NOT use the Compound W for this. I work in a university clinic, and we deal with this all of the time. When people use the Compound W, it makes the problem worse, because it's not for the genital area. It is a scary thing, but it's relatively painless if there is only a small area that's affected. The longer he waits, the worse it will get, and the warts will spread--meaning the TCA medication used to "burn" it off will have to be used at a higher dosage and it WILL hurt. Tell him to get it treated now, and it will be fine if it's only 1 wart. Good luck!

did you try over the counter stuff!?

most stuff that needs burned off is just a bandaid that you put over it daily to slowly kill it!
you feel nothing well you feel the tare of the bandaid but i think you can handle that!
:)
but if it is the doctor burning it off don't worry theydon't use FLAME lol it won't hurt! Trust me!

genital warts cannot be cured by removal, tho it does slow the spread of the virus. At any rate, it isn't generally a painful procedure, and "burning" is inaccurate...they are more generally frozen off with liquid nitrogen.

No worry, they are easily removed with no pain. They use a violet paint and they dissolve within minutes. Tell your friend not to worry
