how do i uninstall my existing driver?

I need to install a new 1 to play my sims 2 game

You you are just going to upgrade it, you do not need to uninstall it first. Just download the new version and install it...the old one will be replaced.

If it's a video card driver, you will have to uninstall the existing one first. If it's Direct X, it will automatically upgrade. Hardware drivers can conflict.
