beloved I-Pod. The program was highly complimentary of the little device, but did make a point that it is really nothing new, just little music recording device and play back system. The program pointed out that it was masterfully promoted among the "upper class cool people" and that they made it into a piece of jewerly. It became a fashion statement. It became a product that every one who was any one just had to have inorder to be considered "hip."
Even the inventer of the little device said that it was just another version of the "walkman" of years past. But, oh, oh, it is so, so cool! Everybody just had to have one. What do you think?

I dont really care why my ipod does what it does..or how for that matter. It's simple and it works when I press the buttons...that's all that matters to me. It's also less bulky then a Discman and I'm the kind of person who buys a cd for like one song.. what a hassel... My parents could have gotten me a cheaper mp3 player for my birthday and I would love it just the same...

The Ipod can do so many different things.. It can store pictures, you can watch TV shows and movies, you can watch music videos, and my cousin's Ipod even has a phone! It has so much more than regular MP3 players!

It is just another progression.
Record, tape, CD, ipod.
But it is progress, none the less.
Definitely more than jewelry.
