In islam we have a duty on earth...?

If the duty is no completed, do we go to hell?? even if we r good hearted and all the good stuff?? please let me know. Thanks..

The only duty Muslims have on earth is to worship Allah how he wants to be worshiped, live by the pillars of Islam and always try to gain more knowledge. That is all any of us can do. What "duty" you are speaking about completing I don't know of any other duty than what i have stated. Being "good" is not enough you have to follow the guide lines of the religion too. At the end of the day Allah is the only one who decides who gets into heaven or not. Just to live our lives with the truest hearts we can. Insha Allah you gain more knowledge.

hmm...thats a tuff one because if you are good hearted that would mean that you would want to DO good and complete your duty. Another thing, only Allah knows who has a good heart. May Allah keep us all away from the Hell fire.

You might want to ask your local Imam this question and I am sure he would give you a better answer.

Isn't our duty to be a good person and worship God. So if you are "good hearted and do all the good stuff" then you hjave fulfilled your duty and will go to heaven

the most important duty is that we have to worship Allah only , no partners with him after that believe in his books,angles , prophets,the hereafter and the destiny whether it is good or not .
then the 5 pillars .

What is your duty??? According to Islam you must produce chaos in the world in order for your messiah to return.. I would think that the terrorists are doing their duty as they expect paradise when they die a martyrs death.
