yes, my cousin called me from here skype phone, and the number is always -000-000-xxxx on my caller ID...all my overseas and SIP(skype) have a funny number..if someone calls from voice.yaooho.com its 777-777-7777...

Companies with larger phone systems installed have the ability to display any phone number they want. As such, many telemarketing companies choose to display 000 so that you cannot call them back. The best thing to do is get on the Do Not Call Registry. Here's the link:

This kid who must be around ten has called my house at least seven or eight times, probably more, always asking for a kid named Mason. I answer almost every time but my mom has answered once or twice. It's funny but I feel kind of bad for him. Imagine how embarrassing that must be to call the wrong house around nine times in one year. LOL He sounds pretty shy too. It's even funnier because I'm also really shy and awkward on the phone, so it's two awkward people on the phone, both of whom know each other's voice from the wrong calls but don't actually know each other. It's just us saying "uh...," "oh" and "sorry" a lot, then some awkward pauses that lead to one of us eventually hanging up.

Yes, the 000 is telemarketers. I never answer calls with bogus numbers on the caller ID.

I think when you receive solicitations from government officials asking for your vote the number shows up as 000-000-0000.

no i havnt either but i had other numbers on my caller id with other weird numbers. i believe that is some goverment number with those numbers ooo cause i had friends that received calls with these numbers ooo and also 000-000-000 hope this helps you god bless

Yes. I ordered something online from either Panasonic or Macy's. The first call came through when I was at work. The next one came through when I was at home. I got my whistle and answered the phone. He said "Hi, I'm calling from Panasonic (or Macy's) to verify an order you placed."
