Hello
Nathaneal was one of the apostles Jesus called. The whole account can be read in John chapter 1, but Nathaneal is mentioned in verses 44 - 49 . Nathaneal is also mentioned as the man in whom Jesus said was a true Isrealite in whom nothing was false in.

If you have the time just take a look at those verses to get a full understanding of who Nathaneal was.

Hope this answers your question

Not Nathaniel, but Nathan was a Prophet of God during David's reign.

2 Samuel 12:1
And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
2 Samuel 12:1-3 (in Context) 2 Samuel 12 (Whole Chapter)

Nathan is a biblical name "In the Old Testament, Nathan is a prophet who served King David and his son, who was also called Nathan. Nathan is also used as a short form of Nathaniel or Jonathan" I think Liam Nathan Manderson is nice.

Nathanael, I think, is another name for Bartholmew one of the 12 disciples.
Nathan was a prophet in the time of David. He succeeded Samuel. Also, he confronted David about his sin with Bathsheba. Look in 2 Samuel. David also had a son named Nathan who is in one of the geneologies of Christ.

The name was actually Nathan. Here's an excerpt:

2 Samuel 7

1. And it came to pass, when the king sat in his house, and the Lord had given him rest round about from all his enemies;
2. That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.
3. And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the Lord is with thee.
4. And it came to pass that night, that the word of the Lord came unto Nathan, saying,
5. Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the Lord, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?

There is of course more information about Nathan, but 2 Samuel is the place to look.

If you have enough time to come on Y! Answers and fill out the form to ask a question, then you have enough time to go to a Bible browser website and type in the name Nathaniel.

Not that I would encourage you to read the Bible. It's a load of petty moralizing and bad mythology.

John 1:40-50
He was one of the apostles

40Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. 41The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, "We have found the Messiah" (that is, the Christ). 42And he brought him to Jesus.
Jesus looked at him and said, "You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas" (which, when translated, is Peter[a]).

Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael

43The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, "Follow me."
44Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. 45Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."

46"Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?" Nathanael asked.
"Come and see," said Philip.

47When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, "Here is a true Israelite, in whom there is nothing false."

48"How do you know me?" Nathanael asked.
Jesus answered, "I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you."

49Then Nathanael declared, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel."

50Jesus said, "You believe[b] because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You shall see greater things than that."
