Everyone who dies...hell means the common grave of mankind.

Ecclesiastes 9:5: " For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten."

Psalms 146:4: "His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground;
In that day his thoughts do perish."

The dead are simply dead, awaiting their resurrection, or their eternal death, they are not in a fiery tormenting hell, or floationg around on clouds in heaven either.

Acts 24:15: " and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."

John 5: 28 & 29: " Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment."

Hello
Actually the assumption of any number can't be made because as human beings we do not know what is in each mans heart. We have to be careful not to pass judgement on anyone because only the word of God will judge, not man.

John 12:47-48 (New International Version)

47"As for the person who hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge him. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save it. 48There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day.

Hebrews 4:12-13 (New International Version)

12For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

By forgetting religions, you throw out the possibility of hell existing.

Well in that context none, as hell does not exist. However if you were to ask how many were in a hell of their own making....I would say 95 out of a hundred or so.

Hell is a religious invention. If we're forgetting religions, we're eliminating hell from the conversation.

Probably less than 1% of people will be deluded enough to end up in the hell realms for any length of time.

99.9%.
Look around and find out why?
God doesn't care about numbers as much He cares about quality. If one thousand persons share in killing a single innocent soul they all will end in hell. I personally think that humans are giving a very bad examples of morality, just read about how ants live and compare, although most people never think when they kill large numbers of ants in a single hit.

None because hell doesn't exist, except as a state of mind to people who believe in it. We all create our own realities, and we will experience ( at least for a little while) exactly what we believe we will.

If I had to place a number on it 0. God made no one for the purpose of punishing, banishing or destroying them. God also knew all about you and all the choices you would make and things you would do and called it good and decided to bring you into being.

IF God does not make mistakes and God made you then there should be no reason for you banishment.

No such thing as hell, despite what Middle Age religious dogma would have you believe.
