If I buy a ticket from USA to let say France. I was suppose to leave from France on May 10. But I travel a lot and end up in Lithuania and it's first week of May. Can I ask to change location of department and postpone date of department by few weeks or months?

Most airlines have an initial change fee of $200-$400 just to make the change. If you have already purchased your ticket, you will have to price the new ticket, and if it's higher, you will have to pay the difference between the original fare and the new fare.

Keep in mind that you will have to stay with the same airline in order to do this.

Yes most of the airlines let you change a ticket for a price. If you are changing the outbound flight or location the ticket will be repriced and a change fee will apply if the ticket is non-refundable.

You should be able too, but the airline will charge a penaly fee for doing this.

Call the airline directly as soon as possible.

I changed my ticket from the US to Calcutta (switched to Bangkok)...wasn't that hard.

This is hilarious. I hope you mean location of departure and not department.
