After a long term relationship, I don't dress like a single guy any more. I'm athletic, very clean but my hair is a little long and usually a little messy, sometimes I don't shave for a few days. I'm most comfortable wearing climbing boots and levies. Actually I only own levies. I own a business, have money and can buy anything but dressy clothes just ait me.

Am I ruining my chances?

naw
I have 4 pair of the same kinda jeans... work a wage-slave job.... don't shave unless i look like hell.... and I shower every 2-3 days... and some how during the middle of this I have aquired a very beautiful girl who seems to think my carefree lifestyle is sexy and comfortable to her at the same time

so basically just keep doing your thing and one day a girl will come around and stay
you just gotta find the right one
just don't look too hard

First things first; obviously, the person that you are dating found things in you that were appealing. So why should you have to now, look at yourself as someone that is in need of change?? You sound like you are comfortable ion your skin and that is saying alot. Sometimes, people that are "fashion-plates" are not comfortable with themselves; that's why they have to look at magazines or other media for a certian "look". Not everyone has to look like "George Clooney; even though he is a very colol indivual. That said. You have to now look at your mate and ask yourself "why do I now, all of a sudden need to change"???
If someone cannot accept you as youself, then they are the ones that need to change!! Revel in you individuality Dude; you a rarity, and the balls to match!!!
