Reason of Violation:Not a Question or Answer

The initial title of the 'question was' "The answer is "yes", atheists are right.?" However, the question embedded in the subject box was "If you disagree, prove there is a god."

I suppose it doesn't matter and I am actually glad yahoo leans on the side of error, but I think this "violation" was a little petty to report, especially considering how non-offensive it was.

For those open minded on both sides, thanks for the responses.

all i can say, is to put your statement into an acutal question, as in, do you believe,,,,,,, im not sure they really research and look at most reports,,,,, but at same time, use your brain and phrase them as a question or an answer

This is not a question. a question would read can you give proof of the existance of God? What is it? or can you disprove atheism?

You did not actually ask a question. On the other hand, the person that reported the violation was being petty.

well i agree with yahoo. It is not a question. you are telling us to prove something if we disagree. maybe you should have stated "are atheists right?....if not why" or something to that effect. they didnt remove it for the fun of it, you need to abide by the guidelines and the way it was worded did not pose a question to the community.

It may not have been the most readable question ever drafted, but I have no doubt it was reported by one or more fundies in their ongoing war to remove those who disagree with them.

I'm a Jew, but I would say that your question was perfectly legitimate.

There is no way to prove that God does or does not exist though.
That is just a fact that all have to live with.

Anytime you note the fact you are an Atheist in your question it is subject to automatic reporting. I loved your question that was awesome Just don't state you are Atheist

No, it's wrong to remove it. It's a chaos around here, people remove questions they don't like, looking for any silly excuse.

No questions should be removed from YA. Lame statement that aren't questions should be removed, but no one should be punished for inquiry.
