could be a lot of things. a big one: yes your young, how's your credit? do you have any, is it good or bad? do you guys have stable, good paying jobs? what about past living accomidations? did you leave on good terms? don't get discouraged, 2 months really isn't that long. i know it seems like it, but you don't want to jump into the first place you get approved for. ask questions like: what did utilities ( water, electric, trash) cost past tenants? how are the neighbors? could you get on state assistance (LIEAP, Section 8 Housing) things like that. check into all your options, and when you do get approved for something, compare. take a second look around. investigate the landlord, most of the information you want is a matter of public record. how old is the building, what kind of repairs have been done, or need to be done. what damages will be held responsible for. take pictures of any thing that is wrong with the place when you move in. date them and hang on to them. if you do decide to move out some time down that road, you don't want to pay for stuff that wasn't fixed when you moved in. good luck

you could ask whilst you're allowed to remodel must you desire to and who will pay ( now and returned the owner will pay and you do the adorning.) Ask how long that is going to take to do any maintenance? whilst you're allowed pets. Ask what share residences they own in the section and what the neighbours are like. additionally examine the size of notice that has to settle for via the two party could one desire to returned out of employ. sturdy success on your new domicile x

Have you asked why you've been denied? What did they say? If they haven't answered you need to be persistent.

If you don't get an answer it might be discrimination.

That is discrimination and its against the law. If I were you, I'd talk to the neighbors.
