Abreva! It's a god send in a tube!! It's kinda expensive, but the little tube lasts forever!! It drys the cold sore out really quickly

Try using the vitamin L-Lysine, it's very effective in the treatment of cold sore's , and stay away from products that contain the vitamin Arginine.

THIS REALLY WORKS
upon first sign of a cold sore rub ice on it for 5 minutes. This inactivates the herpes virus which causes them.
Then some rubbing alchohol to dry it up.

try alcohol swabs...dries the sore out immediately and they are a lot cheaper than any of the over the counter options.
