When Yahoo! Answers first started up the R&S section was actually pretty interesting. There were lots of real theological questions and people answered them from the perspectives of different spiritual viewpoints.
Now it's just a lot of chat clutter and preaching hidden under pretend questions. Yeah, I'd say it's become the armpit.

No, I think it is the heart of Answers, because it is probably the most full of emotion and one of the least rational categories on this site.

By the way, if you really want to see overly zealous bigotry taking over a forum, try the Lesbian/Gay/Transgendered section of Y!A. Only about 1/10 of the questions are legitimate.
