i have a jack russell terrier and im thinking about registering her in the jrtca and signing up for the youth division does anyone know if they would allow you to register if their tail wasn't docked ( i dont like tail docking i think it's cruel) and also if the youth divinsion can race their dogs and if they have a lot of trials in or near california...also are there any other good places to register them in

for your information tyke she is a beautiful and muscler dog her only fault is her tail and i am not interested in causing physical pain to my animal plus i love to see her long tail wag happily and not just some nub

and for your information tyke she is a beautiful, muscler, athletic dog and i love how she caries her tail happily around not just some nub ok and no i did not ruin the dog i just love her how she is and why should i be pitied for this i didnt want to hurt my dog for some freaking look and you no what they dont need a pedigree id their gonna be spayed or neutered and why should i be laughed at for being a pet person you have to be if you have a dog just because oppose cruelty to animals for some stupid look

Kaleef's Geneva Aeval Ac i was wondering if you knew why this was so and if any other organizations would let the non docking of the tail be and if it mattered on spayed or neutered dogs..when i looked on the website but it said the tail had to be proportioned to the body 4 in. and i guess about 8 in. is too long

I own a Jack Russell Terrier and he is reg. with JRTCA and it needs to be of quality meaning the dog must match breed standard or at least very close. They won't do it if the tail is not docked. The trials are fun for the dogs. They make an under ground maze for the dog to go through. At the end of the maze is a caged rodent ie. rat, rabbit, mouse ect. I am not sure if the dog can be fixed because mine was registered before we got him fixed.It is a breed club so they are going to want the dog to look like the breed. I don't think their are any breed clubs that will allow it becouse it is needed in the breed!!!
