First off the puppy is very young, and should have been left with it's mother for another 2 weeks. You may have to purchase puppy milk formula from your local vet or pet store and nurse the puppy every 3 to 4 hours. You can also try feeding her puppy canned food mixed with some of the special formula to acclimate her to weaning off milk.

Talk to the breeder you bought her from and find out what she was eating, if she was. Make sure you have her checked by a vet to have her health cleared to make sure she is not having any issues. Once she is around 8 weeks you can feed her dry puppy food and moisten it by soaking it with some hot water and mashing it with a fork. Over time let the food become harder & harder until she is able to eat the dry food without soaking it.

Remember that when you constantly switch foods and continue to give them different flavored meals you can make any dog (and even cats) very finnicky eaters. Thats where treats come in.

One thing I learned very well is that a healthy dog will not starve itself. Good luck.

That is why you don't remove a pup from its mama until 8 weeks or longer if a smaller breed. Get a good quality dog food. To find out more on getting good food go to http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com
After you find the food you want to feed get some puppy milk from a pet store or Walmart. Let the food soak into the food to make a mush. Feed at least 3 times a day because puppies need to be fed throughout the day and can become hypoglcemic.

You need to get this baby to eat something! Small breed dogs can get hypoglycemic quick. Offer her some canned food at first. You can put goats milk in the canned food. After a few days of just canned food, take some dry puppy food and soak it in water. Then mush it up and mix it with the canned food. She will probably have to be on mushy food for a few weeks, maybe up to 6 weeks. Pick up some nutri-cal as well, it is a high calorie paste. You can supplement her with the nutri-cal in the beginning to keep her blood sugar from bottoming out.

Your pup is very young, most pups stay with their mother until a minimum of 8 weeks old. I would strongly recommend that you speak with your veterinarian about feeding.

She's REALLY young.

You should supplement her with bottle feedings - You can buy the bottle and formula mix at better pet stores. Feed her every 3-4 hours.

I would say right away go to pet store ...they sell moms milk...it will give you instructions....then buy some quality DOG food...and make it moist with mommas milk..make it mushy...make sure she kind of drinks some too!!!! I would suggest IAMS at this point...and then really research and switch to a All Natural food...plenty of them out there!!

Give him fish mixed with rice and give him milk... you might use a spoon to feed him.. he will need a lot of care and love... treat him as ur best buddy and you will soon know how to handle him.. give him all tht you eat but no chocolates..

check with the vet first, then if he/she says your pup is fine, you should buy high quality dog food and drain it with water until its soft. maybe it will eat it. if it does, drain it less and lees everyday until it is eating dry kibble
