i think my neck is out of place for the last week i have had a pian in the base of my neck that goes into my sholders and to my upper right arm and if i turn it sometimes i get dizzy even looking dwon i sometimes get dizzy it's not a sharp pain but more like a dull nagging pain

things that have done on my own
1 haven't fallen at all
2 i can touch my chin to my chest
3 haven't hit my head or my neck
4.no ear pain

1. You may have slept odd causing your neck to stiffen up.


2. The dizziness may be benign positional vertigo. It's caused when residue gets into the "balance tubes" in your ears (there is no ear pain involved). Patients with BPV get dizzy spells when turning their heads in certain directions. It's an extreme dizzy feeling and it lasts for a few minutes (It's more than a head rush from standing up too fast.)
To treat it the doctor will have you turn your head in different directions while tapping on your head around your ear.
You are then supposed to sleep sitting up for a few days to give the residue time to fall out of your ear.

I'm not sure if sleeping wrong would cause BPV but if your head is in a awkward position for a while it makes sense that something might get stuck in your ear chambers.

It's a rare thing. In the first doctor I saw never heard of it.
