Why would anyone WANT Yhvh to be the true God? Wouldn't it be preferable to believe in a non-denominational God that saves ALL good, decent people without reguard to creed? What is so appealing about a God who judges people not on their moral/ethical behavior, but on their belief in a story about a talking snake...??? Is it because you like the idea of a bigoted God?

Because if I really on my moral behavior I am sentenced to death. I can never be good enough to enter heaven. I am not perfect and that is the standard, Jesus, perfection. If I made you a omlet and use ham and cheese and five eggs and onion or whatever you wanted. And served it to you, but I used one rotten egg that was terrible and putride. would you eat it? No of course not. well that is how sin is. You can never do enough good to out way the bad. God chose to show mercy and allowed us in by the way. Someone, who is worthy, had to take my punishment for my evil acts. I am glad that God will not let me into heaven on merit badges, I can't earn enough and I have too many demerits to make the grade.

Allah DOES judge you based on your moral and ethical behavior. You will be judged on what good deeds and actions you did here in this life and which bad ones you obstained from. It does not befit Allah to be unjust and punish those who worked hard to be good people and do things the best they can, as compared to one who does every bad deed in the book and still gets a free ride merely because that person believes that Jesus (peace be upon him) is Allah. That kind of belief gives people an excuse to practice those unmoral/unethical behaviors because they assume they are going to be forgiven anyway. Also the word "God" is so loosely used in these days and times. When referring to a supreme being we should address him by His proper name, Allah.

God, Christ, Allah etc. are all titles.

The God of the old testament is YHWH (Jehovah).
Jehovah's manifestation in the new testament is Jesus.

And Allah is the name-title for Islam's deity. Actually Allah is the name of an ancient Babylonian moon god adopted by Islam and changed for the purposes of worship.

Titles and names are two different things, Just as "Mister" and your name are two different ways of referring to you.
