I woke up this morning with hate, hate for everyone, hate for myself, and so I looked around and saw others with that same hate in their soul and I realized for each of us hate has its origins. I once listened to a Holocaust survivor speak and he would say "hate breeds hate" repeatedly and while I don't know the depths of the type of hate he was speaking of I now realize the true meaning of that phrase. I can pinpoint the day I started hating and it was because of hate. Hatred that God allows freewill, the freewill for people to be brainwashed into hating through religion, the freewill for people to take the lives of other people, the freewill for people to profit from death, the freewill of people.....but freewill also allows freedom from hatred, freedom to know God is not copyrighted, freedom to know that the truth conquers all in the end.

That's a start.

One of these days you are going to look up and see nothing but love. Love for everybody that you see.

Trust me it can happen.

When it does nothing is ever quite the same again.

love and blessings Don

I have a question: What's the flip-side of your hatred? Yeah, love. So, while you're upset about the whole free will thing, maybe you should consider people choose hatred. And, maybe you could choose love and perpetuate that wherever you go, to whomever would listen to you. By the way, no one can be brainwashed if they have a clear sense of self--mind control happens when we don't want to be in control of our own minds. And, dare I say, if you can have hatred for yourself, surely you can find love for yourself the same way. Flip the coin, turn the table, look on the other side of the moon--there's a whole other perspective waiting for you there. You need only choose it.

Sounds like you've found a convenient fall guy for your personal issues with yourself and other humans.

Guess what happens when you cut God out of your "epiphany"? You actually have to stop and think about how YOU affect the world and how YOU can change things. How do YOU cause the hate?

Good luck.

yes, hate begets hate, and you must first deal with the hate you feel within your own self, before you can look out/branch out, into the world, or even have a clear view of anyone else,,,,, hate is often the result of a bad self image,,,,, or what you have been taught,,, so right now, this minute, leave all that behind,,,, take a deep breath, and tell yourself you are ok, you are doing the best you can with what you are currently given,,,, then look out at the world, view them the same,,,,,, not accepting all they do, but understand they are doing the best they can with what they were given,,,,,, if you see faults ,, or evil, know they were dealt that hand in life, and then try to help them, or else send them on to their next life,,,,,,,

yes. you're right. you're absolutely right. free will does breed hate, and differences breed hate, and anger and pain and indifference breed hate. but all of these things also breed faith, and trust. free will can also breed life and happiness and truth. differences can bring about change. anger and pain can lead to prevention of others feeling the same way, and also to passion for what is right. indifference ofdifferences in people produces strength and unity.

Sorry. There is no free will. The reasons for your hate predestined your hate.

whatever makes you feel better...but I would call your "epiphany" and "realizations" a big pile of assumptions.
